Many times during my public school teaching career, I was asked "Do you give private lessons?" My answer was always "No," because my duties as Director of Vocal Music at schools and churches did not allow for the proper amount of time to devote to this endeavor. New Era--I've got time and would love to teach you "one-on-one."

I am also happy to coach/tutor AP Music Theory students as I have had many score 5 on the AP exam.
Folks in the community also approach me asking for help in learning to read music or develop their ear or their ability to hear and sing harmonies. Some people want to know to play their instrument "by ear" rather than relying on music notation. Tell me your goals. Let's get it going!
